Data we use

TChat uses your Tmail email address to sign you in and your username to identify your account. These identifiers and your IP address can be personal data.

Chat history and communication data are stored locally on users’ devices. We do not store chats or calls on our servers. The service processes the information needed to deliver communication and display the posts you choose to publish on the public wall.

Private communication & public posts

Chats, calls and groups are private spaces for their participants. The news wall is public: posts and the username associated with them can be viewed and shared by other people. Do not publish confidential information there.

Recipients can copy, forward or capture content they receive. Privacy does not prevent a participant from sharing a conversation. Please respect other participants’ privacy when handling their content.

Basic statistics & security

We collect only basic usage statistics: visits and the number of registered users. We also use IP addresses to detect suspicious sign-ins and protect accounts. We do not use advertising analytics or behavioural profiling.

We use account and communication data to provide the service, basic statistics to understand its use, and IP addresses to prevent abuse. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, these purposes rely on providing the service and our legitimate interests in operating and securing it, subject to your rights.

Data sharing & app stores

We do not sell user data or share it with third parties for advertising or marketing. We do not provide private conversations to third parties as a service feature; delivery to your chosen participants and publication of your wall posts follow your actions.

Mobile purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play under their own terms and privacy policies. Stores process payment information; TChat uses purchase confirmation and subscription status to activate paid features. Disclosures required by applicable law may still be necessary.

Retention & your choices

We retain IP addresses until you request their deletion. Contact support to request deletion, access or correction of account data, or to ask about other retention periods. Local chat history is managed on your devices; we do not hold a server copy of your chats or calls.

Our server infrastructure is located in Europe, the United Arab Emirates, the United States and Asia. Server-side data, such as account details, basic statistics and IP addresses, may be processed outside your country. This does not change the local storage of chats and calls.

Depending on applicable law, you may also request portability, restrict or object to processing, and complain to a data protection authority. Deleting an account does not erase copies saved by other users, public reposts or records held independently by app stores. Cancel any store subscription separately.

Using TChat & your account

These terms apply to TChat, the messenger in the Tmail ecosystem. By using it, you accept these terms. If you disagree, stop using the service. You must meet the age and legal capacity requirements applicable to you.

Sign in with your Tmail account and keep your login access secure. You are responsible for activity under your control. Report suspected unauthorised access to support. TChat support will never ask for your private keys or seed phrase.

Responsible use & your content

Do not use TChat for illegal activity, fraud, phishing, spam, impersonation, harassment, distribution of illegal content, or infringement of others’ rights. Do not attack the service or attempt to access other accounts.

You retain your rights to your content and permit its handling only as needed to operate the features you use, including displaying public posts. You are responsible for having the rights to share it. We may restrict access or remove public content for violations or security reasons; contact support to dispute a restriction.

Paid plans & billing

TChat mobile plans are purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play. Check the features, price, currency, billing period, trial terms (if offered) and renewal conditions shown in the app and store before confirming payment. The selected store handles the charge.

If you purchase an automatically renewing subscription, it renews according to the store’s disclosed terms until cancelled. Manage or cancel it in the subscriptions section of the same store account. Deleting TChat or your TChat account does not itself cancel a store subscription. Price or plan changes are communicated through the app or store under applicable rules.

Cancellation & refunds

Cancellation stops future renewals under the store’s rules; it does not automatically refund an existing payment. Access normally continues until the end of the paid period, subject to the store’s terms and any refund.

Request a refund through the store where you purchased. Eligibility and processing follow that store’s rules and applicable law. For a missing purchase or activation issue, contact TChat support with the order reference, without sending payment credentials. These terms do not exclude mandatory consumer rights or remedies for defective or unavailable services.

Availability & responsibility

TChat is provided as available. Maintenance, failures or security incidents may interrupt access. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and are not responsible for losses caused by your disclosure of login credentials or by other users’ actions. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these documents

We may update these terms and this policy as TChat develops. The current version and update date appear on this page. We will communicate material changes through the service or official channels and obtain consent where required. Continued use after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law; it is not a substitute for any consent required for data processing.
